Human Resources (HR) refers to the department within a company or organization which facilitates communication between management and employees. Education, Training and Degrees in Human Resources

Most entry-level positions in human resources require at least a bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, sociology, psychology, industrial relations, or a similar field. Certain jobs may also require additional education in finance, law, or health.

Most manager and director positions require a master's degree, and nearly all labor relations specialists need to possess a master's degree in law or labor relations. Many universities now offer a Human Resources MBA program as well.
